i picked up some cheapish denon bookshelf speakers and amp a few years ago, akg 712s and ath m50 headphones, mostly use the akgs but they are ass for DJing. some hercule cheap mixer i practise on cause its not a serious hobby. sony tc-we635 two tape cassette deck and a rega rp1. I want to buy some proper monitors but don't want to be using them for everyday listening and my desk set up would get real fiddley.

also I live with another person so I can only play music at my preferred volume when they're awake or away somewhere. I use my akg K7-xx because i popped the cord on mu dt-880s. I have a mopho and a Focusrite interface but I cannot get them working to save my life, so many people have walked me through step by step that I think one of my mophos audio ports are dead

i need to get a dedi interface so i can start recording guitar better. right now i use my dj controller as a better soundcard but its not the best. i'm a real stickler for aesthetics so i'll need a white one and shit, its annoying being pedantic.
i used to have a sub but yeah, live with other people on a 2nd floor and just, shit annoys people. got rid of it and just went for standard stereo. response on these denons is good enough i don't feel like i need room-quaking base.
always looking to buy new headphones though I love switching around for different responses. I had a pair of akg k550s but they fell apart so I can't use them any more.

Zedd has been going strong since like 2011. Two full length albums which did pretty well, tonnes of tours and festival slots. Rode the Skrillex wave and then became a songwriter for big pop stars.
Chainsmokers are rather new, a year or two since they broke out into the mainstream but they really blew up for some god unknown reason. They used to make kinda tasteful indiehouse and now they're just pop electronic.
