I want to write an album. I'm going to base it off my youth. It's mainly going to be a drum album. I'm only going to use drums on the album for the most part. It's sort of a jazzy album if that makes sense. it's going to have a lot of heart. do any of you have any suggestions? i want the album to two a real soleful story

I truly do think that you should pursue this if thats where your ambition is taking you, but it sounds like it would be a difficult undertaking as far as making it compelling goes.
If I were you I would listen to some rhythm centered jazz albums to gain some perspective, I recommend Art Blakey's Orgy In Rhythm

Watch the movie Bird Man. the soundtrack is almost entirely solo drums. Cool movie too
