it's a really good album but for Ween it's pretty average, The Pod, Pure Guava, Chocolate and Cheese all top it and White Pepper and Quebec are on around the same level

the skip button is your friend with getting into Ween's back catalog, some songs might not click as well and their style and sense of humor took some getting used to for me. Some songs from other albums you might like:

Pure Guava - Push th' Little Daisies, Pumpin' 4 the Man, I Saw Gener Cryin' in his Sleep, Don't Get 2 Close (2 My Fantasy)
Quebec - Zoloft, Transdermal Celebration, If You Could Save Yourself (You'd Save Us All)

It is the best album to get people into ween, even though it's not even in their top 3.

Can someone please redpill me on Ween? I just don't understand. I tried when the spongebob movie came out and I was a kid, then I tried during the ocean man ebin meme, and I've tried countless times since I've started using /mu/.

What am I missing? Is there some sort of genius to this that I'm completely missing out on? The only song I can really get into is ocean man, and that song is extremely good. I want to enjoy the rest of their music.

Why do people like Chocolate and Cheese so much? The first two songs are great and then everything after that just falls off

Also White Pepper is just a boring album

10/10 and one of their best. The only reason some people dislike it is because it has their most popular song on it.
