It's just a dude fooling around with some tinny synths. There's some ideas in there but he picked some cheap ass sounds to portray them. Sounds like Postal Service but severely amateur. I wouldn't say it's abstract, but more that maybe you don't listen to electronic music.

pilotredsun produces some of the most generic normcore "weird part of youtube xD" content around currently, it's just over animated "so random" humor with overly written bullshit lines that I'd expect to hear in the JV locker room. the people I know who watch his vids regularly are fucking pleb stoners who get high and try to start conversations with me about the golden ratio or "the color of nothing" in the hopes of sounding smart. it's these people who call these videos uncanny or absurd and then post them on facebook. his content is the special kind of bad where I see his success and think "I could do this too... but I won't because it's gimmicky and boring" there's nothing abstract about him.

that being said, I do enjoy his music and this album, mostly for his sound choice. there's nothing really excellent about it but it's decent as far as "kitsch" music goes (which is the word your looking for instead of abstract) I've listened to it a few times on the way home from work and it usually puts me in a nice mood.
