I just discovered this album right here, and HOLY SHIT it kicks major ass!
I never put attention to both of these genres, I'm basically just discovering them, so can anyone please recommend me more albums/artists like pic related or from those genres?

Look into the artists features on that album.

Otherwise may as well start with the greats.
>Jimmie Rodgers (the one who died in 1933, not the 50's pop singer) and The Carter Family, two acts who formed the basis of what is known as country music
>Roy Acuff, the original king of country
>Hank Williams, often regarded as the greatest of all time
>Bill Monroe, father of bluegrass
>Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys, kings of "western swing" (country/jazz/big band)

By the way, albums weren't really a thing back when these guys were singing. Look for greatest-hits comps.

Thank you very much, I'll check them out
Robert Crumb has done some radioshows about realy shitkicking country music from the 30s, and his drawings of country legends should give you somewhere to start from.
Also, the Anthology of American Folk music by Harry Smith is a must for gems.
