Their use of trans*tioning footage for shock value in their live shows was tasteless. Trans* people go through a lot and to exploit it for entertainment as a way of saying, "Ew, gross!" was truly immature of the band. Also, their name is purposefully offensive.

Ween is OK but I find their music disturbingly hateful sometimes; in the track You F*cked Up, one of the singers repeatedly calls a female character a 'b*tch' and a 'Nazi wh*re' and it's just uncalled for. It takes me out of the moment.
It sounds like most of their music was made under the influence of marijuana which is why it's so simple and lacking in complexity.
