Gods. One of the only bands to fully combine classical with rock. What modern prog should've been.

Gackt's last album was pretty good compared to most of his other solo stuff; basically solid hard rock with odd time signatures and traditional Japanese instruments.

I liked them during my weeb and metal days but I haven't listened to them for over 10 years I think.

Anyone got a flow chart or rec for where to start? Their aesthetic is up my alley.

I honestly like the idea of them more than I actually like them. It all just feels a little too goofy and fake. They're still one of the best visual kei bands though, so if you're into that kind of thing and and the idea of neoclassical goth rock appeals to you, they're worth checking out.
