forgot earplugs to a hardcore concert, ears rang for two days. good concert but you could tell most people hadn't been to a concert before.

The first concert I went to was a record store show and I was up front taking photos of the band since I was friends with the vocalist

The sound mixing was fucking dog shit (as they typically are at these kinds of gigs) and people were fucking moshing inside this small ass venue. The next morning I could still hear white noise

This. Security usually wears them too and they're pretty badass. One time Fred Durst even gave a shoutout to someone wearing earplugs up front and called him smart. It really is dumb as fuck not to. If I forgot mine I'd either be as far back as possible or have my fingers in my ears. Your hearing is nothing to fuck with
