ITT: Albums that aged like fine wine.
So good + older than like 10 years?
>>74374697
glad to see another has seen the light
>>74374355
Not true i think this was probably way more exciting when it came out.
I would say the Beatles discog or really a bunch of those 60s-70s classics as obv examples.
>>74374819
Madchester is timeless.
>>74374798
still sounds fresh today bruh
More like fine cheese, but yeah
>>74374341
>>74374355
You aren't wrong but pretty uninteresting and predictable examples.
Anything more quiet or contemporary than the genre it belongs to isn't really shooting for anything interesting and doesn't have much about it that could age.
If you want some electronic music that sounds distinctly from a time period but represents all the best of its genre then look here.
>>74374441
You're an idiot.
>>74374745
Naw, I liked it at first, and its only grown more. I really dont understand any of the hate
>>74374880
>thinking City of Syrup isn't a masterpiece
>>74374892
Me neither. For me it always was a stellar album.
>>74374341
Headphase if their next best album after Geogaddi and MHTRTC is third
>>74374892
Honestly I thought it was such a pleb imitation of BoC
BoC before was so incredibly detailed and purposeful and every song meant something. This album just sounded like it was imitating other albums and it just takes one musical idea and stretches it out for 6 minutes to the point where it becomes borderline offensive.
They said around the time of the album's release "we've become a lot more nihilistic over the years"
>>74374918
I like it but there is no way to construe that album as "aging well"
Maybe your vision is obscured by a million Soundcloud post ironic meme rappers but it's unbelievably gaudy.
>>74374957
Tomorrows Harvest>CH>Geogaddi>MHTRTC
>>74374341
>>74374697
brotempo
>>74374986
Headphase is better, realize it you pleb
>>74374980
That bleakness you describe is what makes it so good. Its sparse, stripped down. It creates an apocalyptic dread throughout the LP. Really suits the album but to each their own
>>74374918
desu album is pretty good overall but i fucking hate the obscene amount of features and the skits
Geogaddi > MHTRTC > IABPOITC > Campfire Headphase > Twoism
>>74375011
nothing will ever top mhtrtc
>>74375050
and Tomorrow's Harvest comes after Campfire Headphase
>>74375013
>>74375050
>>74375060
Wew lad thats a bad opinion
>>74375079

>>74375050
>Geogaddi first
At least we can all agree on that
rrright
the production on this is lightyears ahead of anything today
>>74374819
I WANNA BE A DOOR
headphase is truly the ultimate pleb filter, only the boc beck or clouddead remixes can top it
>>74374957
Geogaddi>MHTRTC>Campfire Headphase>Tomorrow's Harvest>In a Beautiful Place Out In The Country>Twoism>Hi scores>Trans Canada Highway.
(I still absolutely and unconditionally love everything they have made, even that kind of lame track on Hi Scores that i haven't learnt the name of)

>>74374341
>>74375004
Go away you retarded contrarian fuck
>>74374355
I feel more like it's become more relevant again as it's neared its 20th anniversary - at least in Britain.
It's no coincidence that the lyrics of No Surprises has evoked a very extreme reaction from British crowds these past few months.
Also, not got an image but would just like to say "Discipline by King Crimson"
