I had to try to listen to this honestly like 10 times before I actually started enjoying it, and even then it was 10 more before I started to realize its probably one of the best albums of all time.

it didnt take me long to enjoy the album but i can relate in that the album presented more and more of its artistry to me with repeated listens. truly a fantastic collection of music.

i find their simplicity pretty amazing, i dont see them as a band making use of gimmicks or quirks. It's just really, really great guitar playing with solid drumming and a perfect (albeit loathsome human) frontman to tie it al together

even Reflektor was a pleasant surprise. it could have been a career ruiner but they pulled it off, and the fact they kept a bunch of tracks that should have been outtakes on the album didn't hurt too much because there were an albums worth of quality material on there even if you cut the stuff most fans didn't like. Everything Now is like everyones worst fears of how Reflektor could have turned out but this time it's reality
