I like this album, but 'Got to Get You Into My Life' is a total cheesefest.

whats wrong with it, it segues perfectly into tomorow never knows
remove yellow submarine already

>remove yellow submarine already
Stop
>>74368456
Yeah, that's the second best song on the album after Here There and Everywhere.
>>74368471
Too cheesy. Sounds way too commercial in comparison to the rest of the album.

"Into My Life" is just their crack at soul-rock, it's not perfect but it's good.

>best songs
>Not I Want To Tell You, Im Only Sleeping, And Your Bird Can Sing, or Love You To

You didn't hear "Good Day Sunshine"?
>>74368548
At least that song sounds like commercial Beatles. Got to get you into my life just sounds like Paul took total control of the band for a song and hired a brass band to back them. It's practically lifeless.

>Cheesy
Meaningless word really - the brass section is great, better than it's use on any other pop track up to that point, there's that sweet guitar and Paul's vocals are top. Also it's about pot so the lyrics are actually subverting the cheesiness

I actually didn't know that it was about pot.
That makes it a little more tolerable.
Still not a very good song.
