Mr. Bungle's first record is just fantastic. Classic. Essential. In fact, I always forget to put it on the favorites charts we do around here but it should always be there.

Red Hot Chili Peppers were good, sometimes brilliant, all the way through BSSM but after that they just went mainstream alternarock. From what I've heard, they still have funkpunk songs on their records but they are in the minority and drowned out by the MOR horseshit.

I didn't like FNM as much as Mr. Bungle. Too overproduced. Guitars and synths at the same level in the mix are always a bad idea.
