if syd didn't leave the band then we wouldn't have gotten division bell (their best album), so....

meddle, wywh, animals and dsotm are their most important and influential works, only true spergs care about their psychodelic pop era. Like every meme it was born by fans who were butthurt that their mature period overshadowed syd period and its great records.

Their stuff with Syd to ne its better than their later stuff, but to say that they "sold out" after that and that their later music was "shit" is just plain ridiculous

i like the first album, the rest do nothing for me anymore. I liked them in high school though.

Every album of theirs is differently great, with some exceptions...
I consider The Pipers one of their best, along with Atom, Dark side and Sauceful. The first one is spontaneous as fuck. Then they got better composing but lost that Barrett genius thing.
