Queen were a great band. First five albums are solid, gets a bit hazy after that but some good singles.

Their hits are all pretentious garbage that only sounds good to drunks with head injuries. The song writing is basically the 80's equivalent to a Katy Perry self empowerment anthem. They just say a bunch of deep sounding phrases and use the cheesiest sonic tricks. And no I'm not going to give their deep cuts a chance after they've made such asses out of themselves on their popular songs.
