I like the ideas a lot but the heavily distorted sax doesn't exact go with the cleanly produced drums, and the guitars sound too tinny so muddy with each other and with the drums, its lacking bass in that way. Feel like it could be produced better, but keep being creative dude its awesome. Coleslaw Blues is really nice though, but I am a sucker for a bit of noise pop.

Mixing wise i just think that the percussion at the first half and towards the end of Portrait Of An Unmade Bed is very loud, but the atmosphere in the middle of the track is so nice and warm, love it, also the ambient noises.

I really dig this track a shit ton. The simplistic beginning is just a little drawn out for my taste but the more done up percussion section at the end is a really nice foil for it. I don't know the source material very well but the only thing that rubs me a little the wrong direction is the occasional kick placement, with the other percussion being so tight rhythmically the almost randomness threw me off. Keep making shit like this though dude, I like it!

Yeah no problem! I think in this genre of music people generally get the whole, your beat is carried on the hat thing, but then I think that they don't know what to do with the kick. I like to think of it as coloring way more in this sense. And if you want to get that affect of being sort of lost maybe shorter, more rhythmically traditional, phrases used in an extremely varied way can help achieve that affect but still keep the groove going!
