I imagine myself playing the song together with my friends in front of a huge crowd. I've been doing it for at least 6-7 years and I feel really stupid for it but I can't stop. I just don't know what else to think about when listening to music.

I use my piano to track the singer's vocal range

Sometimes when playing a song, I like to imagine that I'm putting it on in a room with friends (and sometimes gurls).

I like to imagine what their response would be.

I count the beat out in letters of words by typing them on imaginary keyboards

Pace between my kitchen, hallway and lounge and shadow box. Every now and then i will stop and make some food or make some coffee, this is usually done at around 3 in the morning

I make overly animated walking gestures to the rhythm of the music, and imagine myself being on a TV show, walking around to the tune of the music and smiling congenially to the audience. Sometimes I'll imagine the same thing, but with famous youtubers instead of me.

Semi related but I once heard a song on a video on porn hub, and when I found it on youtube, it had 100,000 views and literally all of the comments were that they stopped fapping to look for the song. Always makes me laugh when I remember it.

I generally imagine vast real/surrealistic landscapes depending on the music. Songs like Pink Floyd's Pillow of winds I am generally chilling on a wide open field with windmills as the sun sets. Or a more spacey electronic track like something in Lone's galaxy garden I imagine my third eye opening and start growing plants rapidly and cruising through my imagined universe comets moons absurd spheres I imagine for planets. Sometimes if it is intense electronic I will just see plants, animals, and myself in rapid decay and rebirth on repeat until the song is over. That's why I love music personally really gets the imagination going

I can't sit still. I'm constantly rocking if the seating arrangement allows it. It's all I do though, otherwise I just sit still.
I've done it my entire life, always rocking back and fourth.
