Favorite DA has to be Donker Mag, but any Waddycore is better

This is the best DA album hands down. Hardly any filler skits, and those on them actually help the flow of the album. No weak songs - even Rat Trap is good - and Happy Go Sucky Fucky is undoubtedly their strongest non-single.

Favorite DG is Money Store. Hacker and System Blower put it over the top for me.

Why do you feel Waddycore is better? I feel like Zuggurat is pretty good, but Tension beats it out for me. I know the preference on /mu/ is slower, more lyrically focused rap.

I like DA alright, but it's definitely more pop-focused. Musically, it's more simplistic and flashy, and rarely has any broader themes other than "we're zef, fuck the system!". All that is fine, and I enjoy it, but I find that time and time again, The Ziggurat presents a deeper, more rewarding listen in terms of musical substance (it veers trip hop and does it quite well), and certainly in concept, what with its dystopian rap competition plotline. Other Waddycore is less so than Ziggurat, but still moreso than DA. DA is fun, but doesn't take itself as seriously in the musical department, they kind of just hand the production over to Hi-Tek and cash in.
