I've become numb to most music nowadays.
Not even mandible (Amnesia Scanner, Shaped Noise, etc.) does it for me anymore.
Anyone know of anything harsh enough to make me want to start heroin?
Merzbow, Sunn O))), Khanate, Neurosis, Boris if you haven't already.
Listening to ear rape songs on YouTube (or making mixes of your own that are incredibly distorted) also helps if you're just looking for a sheer wall of energy
The Rita
Sissy Spacek

Thanks for the recommendations.
Khanate, Neurosis, and Sunn O))) even though they're more metal than wall, are cool finds.
Boris too. It's pretty strange, but it's a good intermediary.
Merzbow feels like a good balance of sheer wall and composed music. I don't think I'm at the point of being able to unironically listen to straight wall.

>The Rita, Sissy Spacek, G R I M
Now this is really harsh.
Try Hijokaidan - The noise
I could never get into it but you might
>>74305747
None make wall noise
>>74305684
I recommend you Sergey Pakhomov, he is my favourite of this subgenre, though it's not that harsh

Or if you more harshness there are the most obvious ones: The Rita, Vomir
There's also Necrotik Fissure who is a friend of mine, and from my country, but I have a hard time listening to his albums because it's too painful

>t. HNW fag
I don't know how a wall of sound sounds. Can anyone give me examples?
>>74305951
Goddamn, am I a normie. There's so much shit I haven't heard, this includes the raw recordings of Japanese internment camp gang rapes.
>>74306035
>Sergey Pakhomov - Lo-Fi
I've been quickly skipping around the audio and it sounds like something I can get into.
>Necrotik Fissure
>painful
On low volume it's not as offensive as what this anon recommended: >>74305951
At the least it's consistent.
Cheers on Pakhomov, though. I'm enjoying the first couple of minutes of Insect Cult right now.
>>74306101
I think >>74306035's example of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Av07meDewk4 is pretty good.
It's just a straight barrage of unwavering noise.

Like Brighter Death Now?
I can't handle the harshness and masculinity. Sigillum S is starting to sound appealing.
>>74306283
Had a good chuckle. It works for some people.
Checkout >>74306329 if you want the other side of the coin.
If there's anything I've learned from this thread, is that I'm still a norman.

My nigga. Not exactly harsh but Ferraro's early tapes and CDr releases fit that mold too
a lot of these artists are so awful
hardly any dynamics or changes which makes it extremely boring and requiring almost no talent to make.
Nothing interesting is going on, it's not even challenging. Get creative with it, damn
>>74308638
noise music stopped being interesting before 90% of the people on this board were even born desu
Street Sects discography is full of insanely loud and harsh noiss/industrial, plus the lyrics are the most dire I've heard. Murder, rape, all that shit.
>>74308874
Street Sects is abysmal dogshit. It's post-Marilyn Manson Hot Topic industrial metal in disguise.
>>74308903
How so? The lyrical content?
The sounds themselves are pretty heavy.
The lyrics might be "cringy" to some, but I think they're fine most of the time.
If you look at the pictures and interviews of the guy's who make the music, one seems old, unattractive, and legitimately sad, while the other seems like a normal guy who listens to classic rock.
I agree Marilyn is Trash, but I like Street Sects alot, got amazing structure and with good earphones it gets into my head.
>>74308903
Also what do you mean by 'hot topic'? The lyrics don't touch any teen stuff, it's all just dire gutter life stuff. Ditching your wife and kids cause you've got a self destructive streak.
Ramleh-Hole in heart is really good more on the level of power electronics tho
>>74308638
that's literally the point of wall noise
