This, Blackstar top 5 bowie albums honestly.
Despite his death giving the album a more grim yet grandiose experience, the instrumentation mixed with Bowie's old man wail is beautifully dark and sad.

Music aside, he made a really great point with that album. Death in the family isn't something you learn or grow from, it ruins you. Takes a part away and romanticizing it is dumb.
