Always enjoyed Willie's more popular tracks but I want to find his more obscure music so I'm going to go through album by album. Whats his best album?

his mid-seventies output is undeniably great, but in my opinion he has some terribly underrated 90s albums too, like Across the Borderline and Spirit.
I would go there first if you are looking for less popular Nelson songs
I haven't listened to all of his stuff though

Willie Nelson's period before he went Outlaw is incredibly underrated. He would be remembered as one of the best country songwriters even if he never grew out his hair and started playing his music his way. This is a collection of demos from that time period that I really like.

Man GP is great

Gram Parsons is just as up there with Townes and Cash for being okayed by hipsters, it's an odd distinction to make. And really, Townes is great enough that if there was going to be one underground artist from the Outlaw movement to be known by hipsters, he should be the one.

Maybe the stuff he did that was basically not country at all, like with TFBB. I've never heard hipsters talk about Grievous Angel
