God Tier Metal Albums

Pick 1 (one)
Underrated. It actually upsets me how many "metalheads" don't even know about Black Sabbath's s/t debut. It's like the darkest, most mysterious blues rock. I get the feeling every dark, mystical heavy band, from crust punk pioneers Amebix, to goth metallers Type O Negative, to black metal pioneers Bathory were paying attention to that one.

The album as a whole is not that great though. I mean it's good, but Black Sabbath is the only real stunner from a metal standpoint.

What about NIB?

It's fun but it's nothing new, could easily have been done by the other hard rock bands of the time.
Two stoner metal masterpieces.

I disagree, I think it's much more like modern heavy metal than anything else from that time.
