Is it easier to sing while playing bass or guitar? I'm decent at both but a lot better at bass. I'm starting a band soon, and I can fill the role of either bassist or rhythm guitarist (i'll be singing regardless) so I just wonder which is easier

It's easier to sing while using generic strumming patterns with chords than it is to pick distinct rhythms with individual notes.

Obviously it depends on the complexity of the written part, you aut. A more detailed bass part is going to be harder to sing while playing compared to a simple guitar part and vice versa. I feel like this thread is bait somehow
