never got the idea why people enjoy this album. Its just a guy talking some deep shit, i get it, but it doesnt have any intrumentalization to back it up so the whole album falls like cement in my stomach.

Still haven't picked this up. How does it compare to their previous work? The last one was easily their weakest for me, I still struggle to actually remember how more than one or two of the songs go on it. It seemed like they might be continuing the trend but I have some faith.

the instrumentation is actually really nice if you put some headphones on and play it loudly. that said, i think thats the point, to feel awful. it's 'barely music' as a lot of people have said.

Both have a dreamy vibe to them while experimenting with some songs. They're like Hug of Storms but lighter and with a more consistent sound.

I'm a huge Mew fan, but Visuals was just OK by their standards. I can only remember the singles and Candy Pieces All Smeared Out.

Oh, and the 2 bonus tracks they left off would've made it so much better.
