why does the mortal kombat theme go harder than any other so

90s gamers were simply the most brutal savages known to man and this was their war song.

This theme is actually legitimately good and I had no idea that it was made for the movies. I always thought it was from the games. I always thought of it as the only good song in the Mortal Kombat games but I guess not.
