Why Does /mu/ Hate Queen?

They're not as good as they're made out to be, and "Reddit" and "le wrong generationers" love them, so /mu/ has to hate them.

I recently came back to them, they're not too bad really. A song band rather than an album band, listening to full albums from them is a chore, but a single song every now and then is pretty nice. They have some nice textures on the early albums and interesting harmonies (particularly on Queen II).

Queen's a legitimately good band that has been boxed into something its not. I blame that awful "Hot Space" album, which is only good for "Under Pressure".

They're okay. They're fun to sing along to with people because everyone knows the lyrics to Bohemian Rhapsody
