Correct me if i'm wrong but are cd's one of the better/convenient forms of high quality music. i mainly have been streaming music for the last few years because it just worked for me but I ordered a cd the other day (because i want to start collecting and to actually start owning my own music) and i looked up the bit rate and its way higher than i expected. i know to some its very obvious but i never actually looked into it since i figured flac or lossless would be higher. im heavily considering buying cd's from now on.
What format do you use to listen to music?
Vinyl master race.

Vinyl is for hipsters
Streaming is for normies
CD's and cassettes (for vaporwave mostly) is where it's at

yeah, in terms of price and sound quality vinyls arent really for me, plus having to buy and maintain a record player. maybe one day though.
i bought a casette like a year ago of pic related because it was like under a dollar on amazon or something and ive been considering getting into those as well. plus they're small so that's good for listening when outside of home if i would ever want to

>sound quality
Vinyl is the best sounding format.
>>74248449
Yeah, vinyl is great on the move.
>>74248449
except after like 20 listens your vinyls will start sounding like shit
>>74248042
i don't have a specific preference but i usually like having jazz lps as opposed to cds or digital stuff

Fuck outta here it's all about the Phonograph master race.
I'll always do vinyl because I make hip-hop, and I know about the wide wavelengths allowing for pretty much ceilingless sound quality with the right equipment, but for the average listener what is better, vinyl/ CD?

>using a cheap turntable
A good turntable with a counter weight, and a decent needle won't damage your records.

should i get this or a 2000xl?
