Does /mu/ like the Foo Fighters?
not really
generic 90s rock: the band
everlong is their only song worth mentioning

This. Everlong is a great song... and that's all.

>generic 90s rock
Is that a bad thing?
They're probably the only really big rock band around these days except for Green Day and RHCP.

Is that a good thing?

If you like rock, yeah.
does mu like the foo?

I'm neutral on it
Generally a lot of 90s stuff sounds clean but very stripped down compared to what came before and after it, much of what was coming out then was pretty unambitious compared to the other decades.
With 80s you have that whole synth meme that defined the sound of the era, 70s and before has the lo fi vibe going, and mid 2000s onwards saw the rise of better production. The 90s are just kinda there. The hip hop acts were fresher at the time since it was relatively new compared to rock, but while I do like the 90s hip hop a lot of it relied too much on sampling instead of original production.
Weakest decade by far.

I take you don't like Nirvana, Soundgarden or Oasis?
There were some great bands in the 90s dude.

>90s doesn't has good production
Maybe early in the decade but even albums like Nevermind still blended well with what was going on in many mainstream stuff in the mid 2000s.
