why are the drums on this album so fucking boring?

I actually just listened to it yesterday and completely agree. The instrumentation is really good for everything except the drums.

The real reason is they couldn't find a good drummer, so Regine taught herself to drum shortly before they started recording, so half the tracks basically have an amateur drummer.
