When I was a teenager I listened to Such Great Heights on repeat on my way to and from school for like 2 weeks, so about 500 plays of that. I listen to full albums now unless I'm in the car, so I wouldn't know what my second most played is

I'm not sure exactly, but I'd guess that it's "Harvest" by Opeth. I play it almost very day in the shower - it's almost exactly 6 minutes, so I use it to keep track of how long I'm taking. It's got a very defined intro-ver-chorus-verse-chorus-solo-verse-chorus-outro format, but they're always adding parts so that every verse and chorus is easily distinguishable from the others, which makes it easy to tell where you are in the song right away.

My most played song on my phone is Screw, Loose by Melt Banana because I was testing to see if the looping in my music player was working right and I left it on by accident while I was doing stuff so it has like a thousand plays. Doesn't help that it's only 10 seconds long.
>>
Back when I still used itunes it were Flim, Roygbiv and Dayvan Cowboy. No idea what it would be today since I don't keep track anymore.

i have favorite tracks, but I guess i just prefer listening to full albums rather than replaying singular tracks

i suppose i listen to a lot of longer tracks as well, and i listen to a lot of stuff that's new to me - i have favorite albums but i don't come back to them constantly
>>
>>74227752
i usually do full albums too, it's just that i revisit my favourite ones frequently. there are some albums i've probably listened to every day for more than 12 days in a row... (matching your most played track already)
i am kind of envious though i wish i could listen to new music more than i do, but i guess i'm just really picky and the stuff i've found that i really love, i love so much more than anything else i hear that it's hard to consider checking new music out a worthwhile way to spend my music time
>>

Year of the Cat by Al Stewart.

Not even kidding. I think it's the most beautiful song ever recorded.

As far as recent music goes, I've played Nocture by Wild Nothing an obscene amount of times.

Technically, though, I have probably played Ethereal by the New Age musician Amethystium the most. I don't know what it is, that song always brings me joy and serenity.

Also, I once listened to Sailing by Christopher Cross on loop for three hours on a mushroom trip once. It kept me calm and sailing, that's for sure.
