I'll give it a listen, give me a moment. Would you prefer track to track feedback or an overall review?
>>
>>74222106
don't care

this is only 1 track

thanks

Yeah, I just figured that out.
>>
What genre would you say it is? I'm adding it to my library and I'm pretty autistic about genre tags.
>>
>>74222175
idk progressive house or trance

this soundcloud page is a throwaway btw

Ok so first of all, the drums sound bad. I know the effect was probably intentional, but the reverb/dsp depth is such that it greats this really low, but audible tone that clashes with the rest of the track.

I can't immediately recognize the synth, but it reminds me of com truise. The higher, quieter track and the more prominent, grimier one come together to nice results, but it's nothing special. It's don't effectively, but not very interestingly.

Lastly, there's so much in this track. Not much on the way of complexity, but in terms of so many different ideas. I see nothing to warrant the tracklength. If anything, break it into 2 or 3 tracks.

I don't think it's a bad track by any means. But it's very amateurish, the mixing needs some fining and it's a bit self indulgent. It's not something I would release. There's talent here and room to improve, which is a good thing.
