They have a small fanbase on this site. I like them a lot.
who are these, the big brother's band?
No anon, you're very, very special.
You're literally the only one on this board who knows about The Residents.
Give yourself a pat on the back, man.

>entry level experimental
WooOAh this is so undergroundz xD
>>74218648
literally who?
they've got so much good shit, altho no one knows anything about any of their later material after demons dance alone/animal lover maybe. imo their decades ranked are
70s>00s>80s=10s>90s
also not available is their best album
>>74218767
Their best album is The Third Reich N Roll.

good lord do these guys not know how to fucking google/
They have a small devout fanbase, when you meet a Residents fan, you meet a diehard Residents fan.
>>74218648
I know them. They're horrible.
Their best period is definitely the 70's. Particularly the ones where they don't use shitty Midi instruments
If you have no idea what I'm talking about compare these two

>00's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MvBs5GJYD14

baka mickey macaroni goes fucking hard. its basically just a duck stab song in structure and music wise, the only odd thing is the arrangement/instrument choice, and even then its not as bad as it is with their 90s stuff. they also kinda stopped doing the midi instrument thing like halfway through the 00s, their sounds are a lot more palatable now.

check out this live performance if you wanna gain more appreciation of their stuff with more questionable instrument choice

They get posted here literally every day.

Mickey Macaroni is one of the worst songs on the album. I would make an exception if maybe the lyrical timing wasn't so shit.
>>74218648
Everyone knows who Barbra Streisand and John Travolta are
>>74219850
i mean i'd agree with it being one of the lesser songs (maybe not the worst tho, i've never been a big fan of honey bear and caring), but its still a great song on one of the residents finest albums
>>74218767
Their 00's and late 90's era albums are forgotten for a good reason.
>>74219897
no. and am I the only one who hates the cover art for that album?
