Thanks, they're great. I actually noticed, listening to them and Bauhaus, that the two bands sound surprisingly similar.

Not sure if I'd call Phoenix a synthpop band, but they have 2 albums that I'd consider synthpop. One of them (Bankrupt!) is fucking fantastic, and the other one (Ti Amo) is pretty good, but not nearly as good.

Hmmmm, maybe the anvil.....that was a little darker. Billie Currie was God-tier. Maybe the best at that time, which is saying a lot.....but ultravox was impressive. Songs like Hymn just rocks my socks
