$18 isn't too much. A brand new, sealed copy of The Doors s/t is $30 at my local record store. And discogs can be decently-priced at times but there are a lot of people on there with really rare copies/pressings for high prices. Personally I always check Ebay first, or the label's webstore if there's a chance it might still be in print.
