We all have a secret shame. Whats yours?
James Blunt.
Whats yours?
Smash mouth desu
It just takes me back to such a great time in my life
All my friends think i just listen to hard rock and other manly shit.
I have the splatoon OST on my phone labeled as Black Sabbath songs. No one must know I listen to squid kpop.
Nu metal. specifically limp bizkit and korn. probably mostly nostalgic though.
Sabaton. I'm 100% sure if I showed my friends they would think I'm some kind of neo Nazi.
Also Synthwave. Perturbator is fucking dope.
I unironically like glam metal/rock.

Synthwave, more specifically the hotline Miami and Va11 Hall-a ost's. They're both tight as fuck imo

probably horrorcore like razakel and smalls one, i feel less guilty listening to britney spears than that, brokencyde might be a guilty pleasure too, also this crust punk band called fukpig
I like some of future bass. Mainly because I'm quiet new to music production and I needed a genre which I can produce myself which also isn't completely focused on just one portion of production (like DnB with sound design or Hip Hop with overuse of samples and boring mixing). I can get quiet creative with it
The normies girls also enjoy it when you play Flume in the car
The thing i don´t like about Future Bass is that is the new dubstep: overused(YT intros) and boring.

Tim Follin's work blows my mind, he mastered every sound chip he got his hands on like he was tying his shoes, just complete dominance over them, making sounds that I never thought possible coming out of those things.
Too bad most of the games he worked on sucked, and that when the industry moved over to higher definition chips and then CDs he completely lost his niche.

TIMES BE HARD BUT A NIGGA STILL GETTIN' IT
Midwest emo
a couple folk punk bands like Wingnut Dishwashers Union
>>74225286
Love the music but can't stand the message. Hard to get behind
>fuck da govt they build guns instead of schools
When each member is a multimillionaire who could donate his fortune to charity.
>>74210045
Their songs are mostly about historical war stuff though, not specifically Nazis.
>>74233043
I mean, they can still be hypocrites and be right?
>>74211121
But ELO is great though, my favorite song ever is Twilight.
>>74210643
GODDAMMIT SERJ GIVE THE GO AHEAD ON THE NEW ALBUM

Beach Boys

This first Thursday album, Waiting.
I don't even think emo is really shameful until the year 2000 hits, but this is a shameful emo band and album to like.
It's just this album, because they got way too embarrassing after this.
This Side of Brightness is a great song.

Forgot pic.
Lady Gaga
pre-Joanne
>>74233091
I guess, but it makes me disregard their opinion. I'd give their ideas a lot more thought if they practiced what they preach.
>>74233209
Guilty pleasure, not really "good".
>>74226159
You might like Hot Chip. Not straight up electronic music but it reminds me of their work, mostly their softer songs.
>>74233212
At least Thursday was one of the least cringey 00s emo bands
>>74213721
>>74223082
check out Zan-zan-zawa-veia
the sound he gets out of Famitracker is pretty incredible
Steely Dan and Fleetwood Mac

trips and dubs confirm that Fleetwood Mac is goat
>>74233354
You're not wrong. They were kinda the last major band to have the mid 90's emo style but evolved into the 00's.
That being said, 00's emo is so incredibly bad that yeah it makes Thursday look like fucking Jawbreaker.
>>74233377
Fleetwood Mac have some of the best songs ever written. Fuck anybody who tells you otherwise.

How are they not legitimately good? Everything through and including Phaedra is great space music.
>Touhou Music
Yes, let me introduce you to my 450TB collection of PCB arranges... and I still keep coming back for more. Hey, Comiket's around the corner. See ya on the jay.
>>74213721
That's good shit
>>74233436
On this tangent,
I also genuinely enjoy the first two Alexisonfire albums a lot. The self titled and Watch Out.
I probably grew out of emo at that point a bit after these albums. I was 18 in 2004, and even then most of the emo coming out then was hot garbage.
Little did I know that by 2007-2008 emo would be one of the worst genres of popular music
>>74209995
Katy B, makes me happy for some reason.
>>74213652
>>74212618
Oh come on guys
>>74233407
>Tangerine Dream
One of my favorite artists. have Tangerine Dream t-shirt.
No shame for the Dream, dude. I know there's the New Age connection, but they are so good.
/Thread
I have a weakness for big time 80s pop hits like Overkill and Wake me up before you go-go

You and millions of others.

sabaton are lame
I work at a karaoke bar, out of all the "standard" karaoke songs that I hear almost every night, I'm still not sick of Mr Brightside, Semi-Charmed Life, and surprisingly, Wagon Wheel and Tiny Dancer dont really bother me.
On the other hand I just tune everything out these days, just subconsciously bobbing my head to the rhythm while doing whatever it is Im doing. Whenever some douchebag sings nickelback, ironically or not, I want to shoot myself though. If you are that fag, or the fag that wants to sing some slow lame niche song that nobody knows at 11PM on Friday night, please off yourself
>>74234009
>Overkill
One of my favorite songs. Men at Work/Colin Hay is a great songwriter. Only ignorant people laugh about them/him being the Land Down Under guy.
Also, I guess the sax part in Who Can it be Now is hilariously dated.
>>74235436
Goddammit, karaoke sounds so much fun until you remember that in the States it's just a bar with a crowd of strangers and a TV facing the screen
Why can't we have comfy private rooms like the Japanese do
