any info on the new release?

nope
could be another year before the new soundboards are release
though they have expressed concern over getting their stuff to fans as soon as it's finished
warp should really give them the same treatment they gave aphex this month with the new streaming page + tons of unreleased tracks

I was reading their watmm ama the other day and Sean said he considered their early stuff cheesy, how can you be like that? also he types like someone who comes here responding shit like "wew lad" and "pleb"
what's really sad is seeing those masterminds get older and older every time new photos of them surface online. really wish i went to one of their eastern europe onesix sets.

if it's any consolation they'll be releasing records long after they're both dead

Except that he had tons of tracks he just hastily hashed out that sounds the same as each other while also possibly using royalty-free samples according to one Discogs review. Totally unlike Autechre where they probably did the same thing (minus royalty-free samples) but kept it locked behind a vault and only selected the stuff they particularly liked to be released, and hopefully quality control will still be a thing even after they die. Don't get me wrong, Muslimgauze made a few good tracks but he's a victim of his own work ethic, almost all of his albums from the same era sound nearly like each other with the best songs being buried under what are essentially mediocre compilations. It's a shame, really.
Back to Autechre, I would love for some of their more obscure live variations of songs to come out. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFSI9IiEWwc Like this one in the beginning, it sounds so pretty and melancholic, they need to expand on it.

if an artist listened to their own work the way you do and liked all of it, they'd never progress or improve
>>74197007
for sure, I was merely comparing the breadth of their discogs, not the quality
when you find that one mussie track that makes you go DAMN it's worth the rummage through
