Anyone still buy CDs?
>>74196117
Yes, lots.

as long as it isn't rock, sure
yeah
used CDs are a steal on amazon
Yes. I have a radio show and they're so much better/easier to use than MP3s, plus usually have better sound quality.

Only for albums I really like and have tried before on a streaming service, but yes. I like owning the physical music, and also enjoy the packaging if thought has been put into it or if the liner notes have good art or design. It's also more affordable and sensible and easier to store than vinyl

Same here.

I can recommend Discogs as well if you've never used it.

this. i used to make money from an app that got me free amazon credits. there is a massive market of cds available for $.01 and back when shipping was consistently $3 i used to come home to packages nearly every day

I know of Discogs but have never tried it, any advice?
>>74196142
uh okay
>>74196216
buy from shippers with high ratings. It's a consumer-owned website, so there's no real way to know if you're being scammed.

It's pretty easy to use, it's a lot like Amazon Marketplace. I picked up a few CDs from there because they're mostly private sellers and independent record/CD sellers. Got a couple of Kamelot albums for about £3 each. You can just search for what you're looking for and see what comes up. Sometimes if I can't find what I want on Amazon or it's listed really expensive there I can sometimes find it cheaper on Discogs.
As this guy >>74196259 says though, you don't have the fulfilment that Amazon gives you though; it goes on a ratings system, so it's a judgement call if you're unsure.

Is it worth it to get into selling?
Yep, been collecting since about early 2015 and have around 350

Also, use Paypal. They are supposed to step in if anything goes wrong
