For me its Wish You Were Here, the perfect album.
There might be CT albums I like more, but this is their most consistently brilliant
Every track is just perfect, no weak points, everything is memorable and every single track and lyric stays in my mind. Never have I experienced greater concept album.

The only 10/10 album of Scaruffi's list.

if tmr isn't a 10 then its a 9.5
>>74189969
it's a 9/10 though

The problem with TMR is that is so weird, inconsistent, that makes the album be not totally enjoyable.

I know, I know, but hear me out. We're off to an amazing start with Heat of the Moment, followed by (my personal favorite) Only Time Will Tell. Sole Survivor is also very good. Without You has the greatest bridge I've ever heard in any song. Even the weaker tracks like Cutting It Fine, One Step Closer, or Here Comes the Feeling aren't that bad.

the album itself is bretti good imho
It's The Ramones!
It's Classic Ramones!
It's the Rocket To Russia tour!
It's New Years Eve 1977-1978!
It's the classic line up of Joey, Johnny, Dee Dee, and Tommy!
It's the last tour Tommy went on before leaving!
Every song is a classic!
WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT?
THIS ALBUM IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY! PROVE ME WRONG!
PRO TIP: YOU LITERALLY CAN'T!

>>74189730
I used to listen to Rush all the time, my dad was a big fan and we have been to a few of their shows as well, so maybe I can take a stab. Tom Sawyer is basically a prog-rock pop song, as is Red Barchetta and Limelight. Neither is very interesting in terms of structure, and especially Tom Sawyer leaves something to be desired. They can clearly play, and they can clearly play longer form music (La Villa Strangiato, Cygnus X-1, Xanadu), so why do they limit themselves to less than 5 minutes and a couple 20 second solos? YYZ and The Camera Eye are pretty good, but the rest of the album just feels a bit lacking, especially when you compare it to their better "poppy" albums like A Farewell to Kings (my favorite Rush album by far)
>>74190823
Definitely the most beautiful album I've ever heard. brb putting on Little Red Riding Hood Hit the Road
>>74191772
Respectfully disagree. I feel like Moving Pictures got all of what made those earlier albums great, and put them in tighter and shorter songs. I absolutely love the earlier works too, but Moving Pictures keeps the musicianship and structure into more accessable songs. Note MP, AFTK, and 2112 are all interchangeable for my #1.

only knock i have on A Promise is its less accessible than Fabulous Muscles
This is an artist where for most people it is a hit or miss, you either aren't interested or you love him. Jeff Buckley's Album 'Grace' is in my eyes the perfect album. Jeff is not very well known, he is an alternative artist, and I think everyone should give his album at least one go through.
