Thoughts?
I sort of shifted my interest from Can to Kraftwerk when my dad introduced me to Autobahn. Really like their earlier stuff.

If you like their earlier stuff, look into the K4 bootleg. Fantastic stuff. That new release they just put out (the 3d concert recordings) also sounds great, but are only worth exploring if you are already familiar with the original tracks.

Why didn't they remaster they krautrock shit from before 74?
>>74173878
They've never really offered an answer on why. Probably because they are more known for their later material.
>>74172946
They were pretty far ahead of their time. It's hard to imagine the sound of their songs actuallly having been made 40 years ago.

Computer World is my fav. The rest just seems so frigid and emotionless. And yes, I know that's what they were going for, but still.

Different strokes. It's probably their closest thing to a pop album if that could be said for a band such as Kraftwerk as well.

Great album, one of my favorites.
I love Kraftwerk. There's something weird about them where they are bland but it just works, and I don't really know how to explain why.

When my dad introduced me to the autobahn i got hit by a bus

I know what you mean. For me it just gives a very relaxed vibe that I can't find in most other music because the music is too wild, or the singer is.

That being said, I enjoy every one of them a whole lot. Fave band. Not that into their early stuff though.
