Also, what most people call "Folk" since the 60s is American Contemporary Folk Music.

Folk means folklore, which means people's customes and beliefs. There's folk music from all over the world and there's definitely excellent folk in a lot of countries with no white guys or even guitars.

Music is just a bunch of noise that is made. Prove me wrong bitch.
