As a person who loves camping, hiking, and canoeing through deep forests, I felt deeply connected with the self-titled Fleet Foxes album. Robin Pecknold uses nature a lot to express himself. It can paint a very clear image in your head while listening to the songs. So I thought we could share and discuss other albums that do this in such a well-written manner.
bit of a meme here but I haven't seen it posted here in like a year

The new Avey Tare album, Eucalyptus, is PERFECT for what you're describing, I would highly recommend it, it's one of my top five of the year so far (along with the new Fleet Foxes album)

this board stopped talking about music since 2016
If you're patrician enough to grasp it
bit of an early 10's vibe to this meme but I'm still proud of it

Funny you say that. If someone states an album is a meme, I get way more inclined to listen to it. Will definitely check this out.

well it's a meme because it's really good
you know how people are always like "what's some good /mu/core no one talks about" and people post usually the same albums? they're still good but they are memes

It's a community thing I suppose. If most people have already heard an album and sees it all the time, they're prone to make internal jokes about it.

Actually heard this one already. I like it a lot, very ambient and minimalistic. Wouldn't call it patrician though. It's far too simple to be that.

Pretty much all of Grandaddy's albums do exactly what you described. Nature clashing with technology and 2000's ideologies is a running theme throughout their discography. Check them out if you haven't OP. The Sophtware Slump is a 10/10 album for me and all their other records are really solid, even the new one they just released.
Radiohead's King of Limbs, people liek to shit on it but i's a beautifull done, nature-infused album

>a tree? A fucking thousand year old tree? Go fuck yourself!
really pastoral vibes for me
summer vibes too

Long Season. The original one not 98.12.28. I can barely understand the lyrics but somehow I always got the nature vibe from it. Maybe looking at cover reminds me of hiking....
this always made me feel like i was at a forested beach

Bump.
You're likely aware of it, but pretty much of everything the Microphones and Mount Eerie does is "deep forests".
