>Brian “Head” Welch faces backlash after describing the reported suicide of Chester Bennington as "cowardly."
>Welch wrote: “Honestly, Chester's an old friend who we've hung with many times, and I have friends who are extremely close to him, but this is truly pissing me off! How can these guys send this message to their kids and fans?! I'm sick of this suicide shit! I've battled depression/mental illness, and I'm trying to be sempethetic, but it's hard when you're pissed! Enough is enough! Giving up on your kids, fans, and life is the cowardly way out!!!”
Who was in the wrong here?

Brian Head is right, suicide is a meme and has to be stopped.

it's a meaningless point. it's not like anybody is supporting anyone's decision to commit suicide.
It wasn't suicide though. It was murder. Both Chris and Chester. They knew about the Clintons paedophilia.

Unironically and legitimately this. They were going to expose it, and got hit.

Reminder the Brian Welch stepped away from Korn to get clean and sober and raise his daughter following his wife leaving him.
This guy isn't just talking out of his ass. He survived an JUSTing
>>74167056
Everyone sufers, but were you raped as a kid?
Maybe I'm reading him wrong but from what I'm getting is that he's angry that after his suicide people aren't denouncing Chester's music, which is overly suicidal. He seems to be angry more that people are unwittingly promoting suicide.
Chester isn't a coward just a moron. He should have spent his millions on drugs and started to make weird music or at least overdosed. What a lame death

>who we've hung with many times

He also turned full-on Jesus freak at the same time. Not exactly an unjust move.

Both do you are right
>>74167375
heh, nice ad hominen, posting a meme per se doesn't make you a redditor, although, in fact it's been bad like this circa 2014/2014 with the influx of redditors/gamergaters, so i understand memes being "persona non gratae".
>>74166977
he's right though. suicide is cowardly. it is quite literally saying that the world is all too much and that you can't take it anymore. you would rather end it than experience another moment of struggle.
it's understandable -- i don't necessarily think less of someone who's a coward. but they are cowards, and they *are* weak.

I agree 100%. He has 6 kids that are going to grow up without a proper biological Father
>>74166977
Man suicide is not as simple as "i'm scared to live better kill myself." This shit makes me so mad because it shows a complete lack of empathy and understanding of basic psychology.
also, fuck korn.

>>74166977
i think the most conspicuous problem with these comments is that he just brings it back to his own depression & mental health. his personal experiences here aren't really germane.
otherwise if he wants to give his opinion that suicide is "cowardly" i guess that's fine. it's not a helpful position that moves forward the dialogue, but famous people are entitled to bad opinions the same as we all are.
>>74167052
stfu
listen to the song Given Up by Linkin Park the song is basically about killing your self
>>74169569
It's cowardly when you have a family depending on you
>>74169660
It's only cowardly if you opt out of life because you can't provide for your family. He was not healthy mentally for fucks sake and believe me when I tell you, on the verge of suicide the only person you can't live with is yourself.
