Opposite for me, I used to think they were pleb trash that's not even metal because I had only heard stuff off the black album on the radio. I actually listened to the first 4 albums and they're all great t b h.

I still like all the stuff I listened to when I was younger (Linkin Park and Green Day are really all I remember), but it doesn't help that I never went through a metal phase when I was younger and only just now started getting into more extreme stuff.
