same but they're often irrelevant.

One angle he really falters in is his need for "intent" and his perception of "cohesion".

Prime examples: Arca is too abstract/unconventional for him, LUM is too random and not put together enough, Speedin Bullet was too raw- i hate to say it but he doesn't "get" a lot of music.

I can't trust his opinions on hip-hop after he gave Blank Face a 3, SATURATION a 9, and HNDRXX a NOT GOOD. HNDRXX isn't a great album, but at the very least it's better than a 1-3/10

That said, Flower Boy is surprisingly good, especially after Cherry Bomb

you cannot even compare these albums they are so different

Well, it's Tyler's best effort and Kendrick's worst. Who would hve guessed that Flower Boy being this good can be a better album in terms of musical ideas and concepts than the first Lamar album that lacked all these
