Melophobia > Tell Me I'm Pretty > S/T > Thank You Happy Birthday
s/t > thank you happy bday > melo = tell my im pretty

Thank you happy bday> self titled> melophobia> tell me I'm pretty
Their first two albums were/are modern rock classics
Third one was ok I felt like they were refining their sound with the distorted noisy production it was a nice expierement
And then they went totally Sellout with tell me I'm pretty

s/t was a refreshing rock record
tyhb was more experimental, still good.
melophobia felt like a natural progression for their sound
tmip felt cheap. didn't feel like a good record.
saw them in Memphis a couple years back after melophobia and it was a lot of fun anon.
trash buttrock that turned into just okay indie rock, 4/10

>Thinking their newer albums are better while also thinking you're patrician

>TMIP so high
Am I missing something here
>>74139493
this but switch TMIP and Melo

It takes inspiration from the pixies in Aberdeen
But the rest isn't very pixies like it brings different elements too the sound
And is just a good punk/rock album

Uhh
Sabertooth Tiger, Japanese Buffalo, and Around My Head are all clearly attempts to sound like Pixies too
I mean it's still a good album but seriously the influence is extremely obvious
>>74139648
Well pixies is just punk rock with a distorted twangy guitar tone and prominent basslines soooo
