Hey man I actually liked some of the stuff on Lightning Bolt. Lot of it's personal reasons instead of actual talent but it most definitely is not worse than backspacer in my humble opinion

Pearl Jam have made progressively worse albums - every album they release is not as good as the one that precedes it. S/t is the only exception.
