Glenn Danzig spent about 15 years of his life putting out nothing but one fantastic album after the other.
Misfits were top-tier punk. Samhain were top-tier deathrock. The first four Danzig albums were top-tier metal. The man is a genius desu.
He also invented dungeon synth with Black Aria and people need to realize that already.

I honestly don't think there's a single song on Lucifuge that didn't deserve to be on the album.
Another thing I completely forgot about that album was how fantastic the mixing and production the drums was.

Glenn Danzig mad one big mistake.

He didnt die after Danzig II to become an immortal legend.

He lived long enough to fade into nothingness. His contributions during his Misfits era alone wouldve granted access to Valhalla.

I feel like I'm the only one who likes Thrall (sounds like the logical progression to Samhain imo), Danzig V, even 6:66 to an extent for some songs, but yeah after his voice went from sugar to shit I wish he hung it up. I Luciferi, Circle of Snakes, Black Aria II, Deth Red, Black Laden Crown are just awful compared to everything previous
