What are your thoughts on Despacito, /mu/? Do you like it, why/why not? What about the remix with Justin Bieber?
>overplayed is not an argument
pasito a pasito suave suavecito
nos vamos pegando, poquito a poquito
I thought the whole spanish thing was a gimmick. But idk

What do you mean by that? The song was created by two Puerto Ricans, and Spanish is the official language of Puerto Rico.

It's not that bad all in all honestly but hearing it 5 or so times every shift drives me up the fucking wall.

i didnt mean the creators themselves being gimmicky, i meant more how the song is getting popular.
its the lolsospanish song

This. I swear the radio station we listen to at work has a contract to play it at 20 minute intervals. First couple of times I heard it I actually liked it.
Just listened to it for the first time now, both versions (I'm shut-in as fuck). Thought it was ok but nothing special, the hook didn't really grab me and the gimmicky spanish guitar was dull. Had my foot tapping along by the end but wouldn't choose to listen to it again really. The Bieber version was the worse of the two.

Oh I see, yeah that's true.
Generic garbage that makes me feel like a degenerate listening to it. I don't know what the part after the hook is called (refrain? Idk) where they PACITO PACITO SUAVE JDHEHDCITO is offensively generic.

i haven't heard it but its probably normie fad shit like the macarena
>>74107989
every year there's a song thots and normies rally around because it makes them look 'cultured', or 'emotional' without being actually inaccessible
last year it was Closer
this year it's Despacito
