I just wish Arcade Fire would drop the disco act. They don't necessarily have to 'go back' to doing any of their past sounds; I'm just not interesting in hearing ANOTHER Arcade Fire disco record, especially since the first one didn't go too well. The thing I love about (what) Arcade Fire (used to be) is that they would totally reshape their sound after every album, and I'm kind of disappointed that that's not happening here. This is the first AF record where they just sort of phoned it in and repeated the last one.

I want to see a shoegazy Arcade Fire record sometime. Or maybe a jazzy one. Whatever. Just no more disco.
