There's a video of her testifying before congress about 10 years ago. She was speaking against a proposed law that would allow record companies to treat (newly signed) artists (who had no bargaining position) as if they were "pay for play" or session musicians.

Her heart was in the right place, but her argument was terribly lousy. Her indignation came across as haughty.
