Octatrack or Ableton Live?
Which is better for making music on, for playing life and for effects?
I love the idea and sounds of the Octatrack, but it looks as though it'd get a bit repetitive at times, as in you're stuck on a step sequencer etc while Ableton you can pretty much go crazy with for time signatures and playing stuff at different speeds to each other
logic x pro

but ableton is very easy to start out on so i recommend it too

Can't really use logic x pro to play life though, can you? I admit if I wanted to do a song with a clear linear progression (like 90% of music) i'd use Logic Pro for that
